• Question: Hello what is the spleen for? why is it there if you don't use it?

      It is able to story blood cells and is part of our immune system. So basically it is a blood filter

      The spleen is a filter for the blood to get rid of any toxins also creates new blood cells. I think you can live without it but it makes the system so much more efficient…

      yes the spleen is the organ with filters our blood and get rid of the old red blood cells…we can live without it but as everything else in our body…it is better to have as we will function better!!!
