Our blood is very important as it transports all the nutrients and chemicals around our body that our organs need to live. This includes the oxygen and energy that our brain needs. If we lose a lot of blood there isn;t as much nutrient rich blood being sent to the brain. If the brain isn;t getting the oxygen and energy it needs it wont send the messages to the organs to keep working. Also there may not physically be enough blood getting the nutrients to the organs. Its like taking the petrol out of a car. No fuel means it stops working. Once our brain is without oxygen for a certain amount of time the tissue dies, and then all the other organs stop working.
