• Question: Is there more than 100 cancers?

      Probably as there are over 200 different types of cell, so each could in theory become cancerous

      Yes i would think so, there are so many different types of cancer and types of cell they occur in

      Yes, each different type of cell in the body has the potential to become cancer and there are about 200 different types….without considering that they can interact differently with one another and cause different cancers!!!!

      I have no idea how many differnt types there are I’m afraid. What the others say makes snese though and as cells can evolve in many ways there are still probably new strains that haven;t been identfied yet either. There is a lot of research still ongoing into cancer and al ot of good is coming out of that too.
