I wanted to be so many things when I was little from a ballet dancer to a doctor depending on what was my fav thing at the time! I had the mindset at school that as long as worked hard I could be anything I wanted to be and its all worked out! I wasn’t super intelligent at school and I’m still not. I just enjoy learning and work hard at it and it pays off.

I dont recall ever having that urge when i was little to be something, like a doctor or lawyer. The first job i thought would be really cool was a marine biologist. I just learnt how to snorkel on holiday in Greece and heard that some people get paid to dive and study marine life. I remember thinking that sounded really cool!!!! Beyond that i was just obsessed about sport and playing professional Rugby or Basketball 🙂

The first job I remember wanting to do was a forensic scientist, then I realised that I wanted to try to solve puzzles, so any type of science would be ideal. Also my other interests were and still are food and sport I focused on nutrition

In Singapore, young ladies often aspire to be Singapore Airlines stewardess! You will be in the spotlight, be the country’s ambassador and get to travel around the world… But I am not tall enough haha. I also wanted to be an author, writing book but my family didn’t encourage me to do that because there’s not much we can do in Asia:( I always like science but don’t really want to be a doctor so here I am, a scientist!
