Question: what dose our appendix do?

Great question! There isn’t a definitive answer on this! Some scientists think it plays absolutely no role in our bodily functions but others feel it plays a part in keeping the immune system healthy by storing lymphatic cells! I think it must have some role, even maybe so small that we don’t miss it once we have it removed but I can’t imagine we have something in our body that does absolutely nothing at all! Can you?
