      Hi again Harleyhammer7,

Me and my family always like playing badminton, it’s very popular in South East Asia. But it’s way too windy up here in Edinburgh!

Hi Harleyhammer7, it was rugby as it is a great team sport, and like in research everyone has a role and you have to work together to make the team work and get the result.

      Hi Harleyhammer 7

Basketball and it still is today. I was the only girl on the boys team at school and now I play in the WBBL! Much like science I persevered and worked hard to get to where I am. I also managed to combine my love of sport and science being a sports scientist 🙂

My favourite sports growing up was Rugby and Basketball. Really enjoyed the team environment and the friends you make as a result. Without doubt, the physicality/contact aspect of both sports was what i liked the most. Training was my favourite aspect and then seeing how practice could translate into winning.

      Hi Harleyhammer7
my favourite sport was tennis when I was back in Italy and then it became squash as it is quite difficult to play tennis outdoor in Aberdeen. Why? I can release my frustration when something does not work in the lab by hitting the ball very hard against the wall!!
