It needs to be enjoyable, based on plenty of fruit and veg with whole grain if possible starchy foods. It should also include dairy products and meat (or alternatives). It is best to limit sugary foods (especially sugary drinks) and fatty foods. The importance of drinking enough water should never be forgotten.
Not much to add…..a balanced and varied diet….a bit of everything including plenty of veg and fruit and in moderate amount is one way to prevent obesity!!
