• Question: Approximately how long does a missing fingernail take to grow back ?

      Ouch missing fingernail! I think it would 2-3 months. From my own observation my nails grow about 2-4 mm every 2 weeks.

      The speed a nail grows is related to the length of the bone, so you small fingernail would grow slower than the longer fingers. Not entirely sure how long it would take to completely regrow, i reckon a number of months though….
