Not yet, I think in my very small field I am known by people in UK and Europe

I think being a famous scientist normally means that you are known by scientists within your field, but also by scientists and the general public from different walks of life. So someone like Brian Cox would to me be a famous scientist. I would like to think that other scientists in my field know my work and respect what my group does, but i would not think of myself as famous.

Not yet but I have had some people contact me about my work who I consider important in my area, so I suppose I am getting known to them slowly 🙂 It takes a long time to establish your reputation as a scientist and a lot of research!
