      Based on my typing speed i completely expect to be voted off as i’ll only answer a fraction of the questions that my colleagues will complete. The competitor in me says of course winning would be good, however the big picture was to see what this scheme is all about and chat with students about my research interests. So regardless i’ll definitely achieve this….

      as they say….it is not the winning but the taking part that counts….or maybe the other way around!!!

      It would be great to get lots of votes and win the money to promote my area but I find the most important thing about this “competition” is getting to talk to you guys. I would have loved something like this when I was at school and to learn about all the various types of science and scientific jobs out there. I just hope I can help answer your questions and maybe inspire some of you to like science more and consider a job in the area. Science is ace and we need it for so many things that we take forgranted.
