• Question: Can our nose remember 50 000 scents?

      I dont know, I think some people can remember many thousands of smells, others may have no sense of smell (anosmia)

      I’m not sure about the exact number of scents/smells that we can recognise. I would imagine that there is considerable variably between people as well…

      not sure either…if we can distinguish so many different one but we can train our nose to recognize different one and then possibly remembering them too!! i am working on mine and once I won a price in a whiskey tasting competitions….my friends say it is my big roman nose!!!
