• Question: Do other animals have similar digestive systems to us?

      Yes, I guess one that is used quite a lot is the pig. Not identical but as it is an omniovore and a similar size the digestive system is quite similar.

      Yes. The closeness to us is probably dependent on the typical diet of the species and how close they are to humans in the evolutionary tree…

      Yes, the closer the animal is to us in the evolutionary tree, the similar the digestive system….the pig is a veryy good example as suggested by Duane
