Yes I go to conferences in places around the world to present and network with other scientists. At the moment I don’t go in to schools but if I win the compeition I want to use the money to go into schools and run workshops for you all.

I do both…but normallyvwhen I go to other countries it is to discuss research with other scientist…whereas when I go to schools it is to tell about body fat and what it does to us in relation to diseases…..I find also science festivals and go to community centre or where people meet, a very good way to spread the news about what we do in research

Yes I have presented my work in a number of places around the world and my boss has too (he went to the more exciting places sadly like Tokyo). I also use social media to discuss research ideas and share work. I have been into a number of schools, 1 of which I turned into research. I would really like to do more working in schools in the future
