      To me this all comes down to the idea of energy balance. You need to take into account the amount of food/calories to take in, compared to the amount you expend. Everyone will have a slightly different equation and we can change this balance by increasing physical activity/exercise or eating differ types of food. So its really hard to say person to person exactly what they should and shouldn’t eat. High fat foods are energy dense and so take a lot more energy to breakdown and use, so this makes maintaining energy balance really difficult.
