• Question: How tall can an average adult grow?

      The average UK man is about 1.78m I think and women about 1.66m.
      This varies from country to country

      I think that men on average are 5’9” and women 5’4”. But obviously this is just the average across the population. I used to play basketball against a guy that was 7’6” 🙂

      It is very dependent upon your genes and family hostory of height as well. Andy is right about the average heights for males and females but people can grow a lot taller. I also play basketball and often play against women well over 6 feet tall and know lot of guys around the 7 foot mark! As I am playing basketball a lot i find it quite normal now to be around people that tall but it is quite rare to see such tall people.
