• Question: If there was a pill to stop you being fat would you take it?

      No, from experience working in clinics and research with these types of medication, the ones that really help with weight loss tend to have quite nasty side-effects, from liver damage to heart attacks!

      No, the side effect of same of them are not pleasant…..there are few pills on the market that prevent the intestine to absorb fat from the diet which have unpleasant effect and I leave it to you to guess what….other drugs have been taken off the market because had side effect which cause depression….it is not easy to devise the “magic” pill and still a lot of research is required!

      I would not. A quick fix like a pill is not going to be sustainable and will often work at the expense of other things. For weight-loss to be maintained over a long period of time it needs to be gradual and be through exercise and diet changes. I don’t think a medicine will ever be able to do this on its own.
