      In theory you’re not swallowing anything so it shouldn’t necessarily be bad for your whole body health. But too much is probably not going to be good for your teeth/mouth/jaw

      Some chewing gums contain sweeteners called xylitol, these have a cooling taste and can stop the bacteria which cause tooth decay growing so that might be good.
      Some people also think the action of chewing can be beneficial, but the actual health benefits have not been shown in research
