      Hi Emmanuelle
thanks for your very interesting questions. The answer in brief is too many!! I am particularly interested in studying cancer of the breast and of the colon in addition to diseases to the heart. When I go to the obesity clinics, patients have a variety of diseases and probably the most common one are type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and also heart disease. Some of them also have problems with their knee joints due to the extra weight that they have to carry all the time. The problem that doctors face most of the time is that individuals have more than one of these diseases and it is not easy for them to deal with all of them at the same time!! they are doing a great job and, us as a scientists, are trying to study the link between obesity and these diseases to give them an hand and provide them with new therapies to cure peoples.
