      Skin as it covers our bodies and stops infection getting in. It is also waterproof and helps us to control our body temperature

      That’s tough as so many systems are vital and inter-connect with each other. I’ll stick with my research interests and say muscle. Its ~40% of your body mass and provides all the energy to move, stand, function etc…
