      its the liquid bit of blood, really important as it allows blood to transport all its important factors like nutrients and oxygen, whilst removing negative metabolites

      It is the liquid part of the blood and it does exactly what Duane and Andy mentioned…..we have about 5 litre of blood in the body and plasma is about 50%;-)
