• Question: what sport is best to keep fit after eating something that is unhealthy?

      Good question…. how unhealthy are we talking 🙂

      If you think about it as a balancing act. All the food that you eat will require a certain amount of energy to break it down. So the higher the calories in food, the more exercise/activity is needed to break it down. If you don’t break it down then it will eventually be stored somewhere in the body, possibly as fat.

      So if you think about the balancing act, if you exercise more that the energy requirements of the food you take in you will remain weight stable. If you eat more than you exercise then you will not maintain balance.

      Typically sports that involve whole body movements, like running or swimming will use the most energy and so probably the best to increase whole body energy expenditure. However, easiest option is to not eat to unhealthily 🙂
