The womb. The most sacred part of human body imo, well I am studying pregnancy so this is what fascinates me most. My second favourite placenta, the often forgotten and mysterious organs. Maybe that is why a lot of culture worship the womb and placenta..

it has to be the liver as it was the first organ I used in my research…..followed closely by the fat tissue….as I am working on it now and it is so different from other ones!!!!

I study skeletal muscle as it has so many important functions in the human body, from providing all the energy for movement, to storing huge amounts of fuels. It is also fascinating to me how much we can change the size and function of it during adulthood with exercise/diet. Not many organs can be changed in such a way once they are fully grown….

Our eyes! I can’t imagine what it must be like not to be able to see and take in all your surroundings. I suppose linked to this the brain as it is the brain that makes sense of the images we see and tells us what it is. We are phenomenal beings and our bodies are capable of so much! Look after them 🙂
