• Question: when we sneeze why do we close our eyes ?

      I think it is a reflex, not sure we really know why though

      Its a reflex reaction that doesn’t seem to have an obvious function. I’ve heard it suggested that its to stop your eyes popping out but your eyelids have no bearing on how you eyes are attached to the head so this is not true…
