• Question: When you go to Mcdonalds or other fast food places, if you burn the calories off after you eat the food, will it still hurt your body?

      Hi Lieutenant,

      You’ll eat as you are hungry so you need some of the energy but maybe not all of them. Burning calories straight away after you eat while your body is still digesting the food does not sound like a good idea to me.

      It may not be a good idea it the long term as your diet may not be well balanced. I know a researcher in America who ate twinkies for 2 weeks to prove he would not gain weight. Not a sensible idea though

      I guess with processed, high fat foods like fast food, you have the calories but also a lot of other things like high salt content for example. So even with exercise to deal with the calories, you have a lot of other things that can contribute to poor health….
