That is a killer question
Anybody who refuses to discuss the evidence from experiments and blocks reasonable debate. With social media the ability to share ideas and science has grown amazingly, those who close their eyes to evidence in my view are the worst type of scientist and so my least favourite
Josef Mengele….Nazi scientist who did deadly and unscientific experiments on prisoners in concentration camps during world war II…not a good example for us all!!
Anyone that judges you based on your academic background, where you came from, what you studied at university or tells you you can’t do something. Like most jobs there’s a fair bit of snobbery kicking about from ‘senior’ staff. If you work hard and ask good questions then anyone can excel in science
I would agree with the other answers here. Science is about sharing and being open to new ideas, accepting your colleagues and not judging based on academic background. Its also about researching in an ethical manner and protecting and being responsible for your participants well being. Anyone who doesn’t adhere to this is not a good scientist.
