not an expert on this one but I thought it was the opposite….girls need more than boys especially later in life as women do supper more from osteoporosis which is a decrease in bone mass and density leading to increased risk of fractures!! Both boys and girls need a good and adequate intake of calcium for development of strong and dense bones during the adolescent growth spurt
I wasn’t aware that boys do specifically require more calcium in their diet. I would have thought that a balanced diet would provide the required amounts for both boys and girls
