Question: Why do larger people cope better in cold weathers? Is it something about the amount of fat?

Although the fat will act as an insulator keeping in heat, it is also likely as the core of your body is further from the outside you will lose less heat if you are bigger. This is because the surface are to volume ratio is lower the bigger someone’s body becomes.
