Not quite sure about this, Asian people usually don’t have freckles so I am not very familiar. But surely this has something to do with sunlight exposure?

I’m not 100% sure but its linked to the pigmentation in our skin. When the sun hits the parts of the skin where there is differnece in the pigmentation it shows as freckles. I get them a little but in the summer.

I think Katie is right, it is linked to uneven distribution of cells that make melanin and in summer when it is sunny these make more melanin and can be seen
