• Question: Why do we say ouch when we get hurt

      Hello Awesome dude, it it just a reflex, I think we are wired to do this as it helps to attract attention in case we need help when we get hurt.

      Saying Ouch is a conditioned response. Not everyone will say ouch. Some people can get hurt and not react verbally. It is a way of releasing the shock of the trauma as most of the time we are not expecting the pain.

      Nice question. I think it’s just a reflex and something you have learnt to do over time as everyone probably reacts slightly differently when the hurt themselves.
