• Question: why do you have ear wax

      We produce ear wax to ensure that the ear canal isn’t too dry, and also to trap debris. Too much ear wax can block the ear but if this happens don’t worry just go to the GP and ask for help. Do not dig it yourself let the expert handle it!:)

      It is to stop things getting into your ear and causing an infection
      As Theresia says don’t dig it out yourself, my mum used to say don’t put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear. I think she was being silly

      The guys have this covered I think. If we get an infection in our ear it can affect the wax and we can get a runny ear.
