Great questions. The intestines are great things. They slowly move the food along from our stomach to our bowel and take out the nutrients that our body needs and allows them to filter into the blood and around our body. The bits that our body doesn’t need are then moved along and into the bowel where we eventually get rid of the waste bits from our food when we go to the loo!
