• Question: Why does salt make you thirsty?

      This is because raising amount of salt is making the body fluid “plasma” becoming too “concentrated” (like in a condensed milk). Our body has a way to ensure that the body fluid is neither too concentrated nor too diluted (like milk mixed with water). So when we consume salt the action will signal to our brain to instruct us to drink..hence the thirsty feeling 🙂
