That’s to help us against some strains of flu viruses. I did have mine when I came to the UK for the first time. I have never been in this country so my body may not be used to the viruses here. It was also cold (I came in autumn), and my immune system was likely to be weakened and I could get flu very easily. In my opinion the flu jab did help me.

I have not had mine as I am not deemed a risk or likely to work with people who are at risk of flu.
It is grown in eggs and is a combination of what scientists think will be the most common flu viruses this year. It is given to many children, older people and people working in hospitals

The flu vaccine is designed to protect those deemed most at risk from common forms of flu. I haven’t had the vaccination as i don’t fall into this category
