I guess it depends on what you medical condition is. Laughter does tend to help as it releases endorphins and serotonin which helps us to relax and feel better, it also reduces stress hormons like cortisol which are generally considered to be bad for health
I personally would actually say exercise is the best medicine for our bodies 🙂
I think think that the health association is with laughing is related to the positive things (Endorphins) that are initiated in your brain when you feel happiness/euphoria. As it happens, exercise also leads to a similar response, so maybe we need to be laughing while we run 🙂
