• Question: you know how your brain sends messages to your feet when you want to walk, how does your brain do it and how does it do it quick enough?

      You start by thinking you want to go somewhere. Then this will activate motor neurones, these send messages down your spine and into long nerve cells into your leg. These stimulate muscles to contract and this is how your start to move. This will be balanced by other muscles relaxing allowing you to take a step. Then balance mechanisms start to work so you don’t fall over.
